About the Project

Parabl Talking Therapies provide short-term therapeutic interventions for individuals facing common mental health difficulties or challenging life events which may be impacting their emotional wellbeing.
Services are provided by a consortium of charities and complement other treatments available from Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board Primary Care Mental Health Teams.

We cover the six counties in North Wales. Services are delivered across a range of venues throughout North Wales, with options for weekend and evening appointments

Who do we support?

We support individuals aged 18 and over who live in Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire or Wrexham, that need support with their mental health. Our partnership delivers effective short-term therapeutic interventions for people facing common mental health difficulties and challenging life events which may be impacting their emotional wellbeing.

How do we do it?

Parabl offers:

  • Self-help guides – covering various areas of mental health
  •  The Serenity Programme – (CCBT) an interactive self-help programme which allows you to work through a series of self-help modules
  • Therapeutic Groups – we offer a range of therapeutic groups which are provided in convenient locations across North Wales
  • Individual therapy – offered with a qualified counsellor on a one-to-one basis
