About the project
Carmarthenshire Day Services provide a wide range of opportunities and activities to help people recover from a serious mental illness. The sessions provide structure, encourage social interaction, discussion of current affairs and development of skills and artistic abilities. These Groups are run in Carmarthen, Whitland and Llandovery.
We also offer Seibiant services which provide respite to carers by providing day service opportunities for people experiencing serious mental illness. Group sessions provide structure, encourage social interaction, discussion of current affairs and development of skills and artistic abilities. One-to-one support is tailored to address issues that can facilitate recovery, and improve quality of life for those being cared for. Groups take place in Carmarthen, Llandovery, Llanelli and Ammanford.
Eligibility / Referral Process
Anyone with a diagnosed Mental Health problem – Self-referral/professional referrals from GP’s, CMHT and other Third Sector services.
