About the project
The service operates across Rhondda Cynon Taff and Merthyr to provide support for people experiencing mental health issues. This is achieved through meaningful activities that are delivered by the team and by external providers. We also focus on Recovery Planning with clients to improve their overall wellbeing and recovery.
We have a pool of volunteers with knowledge of gardening and arts therapies and we utilise their skill set to provide peer support for clients.
All meaningful activities are decided by the client group through partnership meetings where we consult all service users to have their input on how the service delivered looks, and what activities we offer, this has previously also included group trips
Eligibility / Referral Process
People who are residing in the communities of Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil and those who are currently supported by the Mental Health Services of CTMUHB.
