About the Project
Tenby Resource Initiative (TRI) project is a resource and activity centre, with a drop-in facility, which is based in the centre of Tenby. The project provides a safe and welcoming environment for its members to be able to relax, be listened to and to gain vital mental health support when needed. We also provide a range of activities and courses, which include practical and emotional support.
Who do we support?
We provide support to people who might be experiencing problems with their mental health, their families, and carers.
How do we do it?
Our project provides three main services. Our drop-in service provides a safe welcoming environment for those needing to be listened to or supported through their mental health. We also offer activity sessions, which relate to wellbeing and mental health. These include chair yoga, meditation, photography sessions, gardening, crafts, and fun quiz and bingo sessions. We also provide one-to-one support, which involves supporting members with paperwork such as benefits, housing, applications, as well as signposting to other organisations for specialist help.
