About the Project
Parkland Place is a 15-bed rehab unit situated in North Wales that is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year. We offer rehabilitation to those suffering with alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, and other harmful behaviours. We offer a friendly, bespoke, and nonclinical therapeutic model, grounded in a single aim: helping our guests to change their lives.
Our bespoke approach allows us to address the social and psychological needs, underpinning the addiction.
Who do we support?
We offer support to individuals aged 18 years and above from all backgrounds, who have difficulties with addiction, low self-esteem and who are struggling with their mental health.
How do we do it?
We provide guests with a structured medical detoxification before beginning their recovery journey. Our highly skilled team will help guests learn to avoid triggers, develop new coping strategies, and find new ways to enhance their wellbeing. We deliver group work sessions, as well as individual one-to-one sessions and counselling. We will work with guests to prepare them for the transition home, focusing on activity scheduling and recovery networks. We also provide 14 days of welfare calls post-discharge and six one-hour aftercare sessions, that can be utilised over the next 12 months.
We also adopt a holistic approach to our support, incorporating CBT, DBT, MCT, mindfulness and other evidence-based therapies.
