About the Project
Into Work is a new, holistic employment service providing wraparound support to help people back into employment. We aim to create space for clients to focus on finding work that has a positive impact on their lives and supports their recovery journey. We provide tailored support, skill enhancement, engagement with employers, and prioritise long-term success. Our vision for Into Work is simple but ambitious: we want to change how people living with mental health challenges are supported into and within work. We are based in Wrexham only.
Who do we support?
We offer support to people aged 16 and over who are seeking employment.
How do we do it?
The Into Work service offers several significant added values that distinguish it in supporting individuals with mental health challenges seeking employment. The service will work to identify support needs and create a tailor-made action plan to support someone back into work.
Altogether, we provide a tailored support plan around money, housing, confidence, and motivation; assistance with creating targeted CVs; help with completing application forms and cover letters; support with job searching, including setting up email addresses and registering with job sites, brokering and seeking job vacancies; and signposting to training opportunities, including English, Maths and IT skills.
