About the Project
The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board – Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) is an NHS community-based service that focuses on the early detection and recovery from psychosis for individuals aged 14-35 years across Gwent. Adferiad Recovery form part of this service working with individuals for up to three years who are experiencing their first episode of Psychosis.
Adferiad specialise in supporting individuals with their social, emotional, and vocational needs in 1:1 and group settings. This person-centred support helps individuals to achieve their goals, increase confidence and resilience and develop social skills through talking therapies and activities.
The EIP team consists of Adferiad Recovery Practitioners, Specialist Community Psychiatric Nurses, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Administration, Occupational Therapists and Peer Mentors.
Eligibility / Referral Process
Referrals are taken from anyone, including self-referral however there is an option to email ABB.EISReferrals@wales.nhs.uk
