Dyfodol team win ‘Award for Changing Lives’ at HMP Cardiff

A big congratulations to the fantastic Dyfodol team who have been given the ‘Award for Changing Lives’, nominated by prisoners at HMP Cardiff.

On 8th December, an award ceremony was held at HMP Cardiff where staff were recognised for all of their hard work during the year. These awards were nominated by prisoners at HMP Cardiff to show their appreciation for the staff that have supported them or helped them in any way during 2021.

The Award for Changing Lives was proudly given to the Dyfodol team of Deb, Kayleigh, Beth, Tony and Dan.

One individual commented on the great work by the team, saying: “These people went above and beyond their set job roles and supported me in so many ways I would need a whole A4 pad to detail them all.

“They helped me not only through the amazing SMART group programme but also with addressing my mental health.”

When asked how did the team’s help make you feel, they replied: “Valued, worth the effort, encouraged and motivated. They helped me realise I had the strength to conquer my addictions and overcome any obstacles that come my way in the future.”

A big well done to all the Dyfodol team for always going the extra mile with all their clients.
