The latest news from Adferiad Recovery – November 2021

Welcome to this month’s edition of the Adferiad Recovery Newsletter!

It’s been a busy few weeks for us at Adferiad Recovery as we have been ironing out a new structure for our Executive Team. We are pleased that as part of the restructure we have been able to welcome some new faces to the Adferiad Recovery family and have been able to provide exciting new opportunities to some of our long-standing members of staff. We are confident that the new structure will ensure that our services continue to operate smoothly for the benefit of those who need them most.

As we move into December it is time to look forward to the festive period. However, it is important to remember that this time of year can also pose additional challenges to those experiencing mental health problems and/or substance misuse issues. Pressures of providing the perfect Christmas for family and loved ones can often cause unnecessary stress which can impact negatively on our mental health. This time of year also brings with it a tendency to indulge when it comes to alcohol, which can be difficult for those in recovery.

Don’t forget that support from Adferiad Recovery is always there, and if you or someone you know is struggling at this time of year, get in touch with us to find out how we can help.

Chief Executive, Adferiad Recovery
