About the Project

Your Resilience is a UK-wide programme which supports young people’s mental health resilience. Delivered in non-educational settings, Your Resilience equips young people with the tools and knowledge to maintain their mental health through life’s transitions, both now and in the future. Overall, we want to offer a refreshing perspective on resilience amongst young people by supporting an open conversation about what resilience is, and what is required to build it.

Who do we support?

Delivered in all non-educational settings to children and young people aged 14 – 18 years old.

How do we do it?

Designed with input from young people, the programme supports an open conversation about what resilience is and what is required to build it. Delivered through scenario-based discussion and relatable topics, such as social pressures and low mood and depression, Your Resilience will leave young people with a better understanding of mental health in themselves and others. They will also possess a suite of tools they can deploy in ways which are right for their own mental health both now and in the future. Other topics we cover include:

  • Exam stress
  • Making decisions about the future
  • Social pressures
  • Managing studies
  • Friendships
