About the Project
The Welsh Gambling Education Hub aims to reduce gambling harms among children and young people across Wales through early intervention and prevention.
We do this through a variety of methods including a variety of training and interventions based around gambling-related harms and trends.
These training packages aim to be delivered to a variety of cohorts including:
- teachers
- professionals working in the youth sector
- parents
- carers
We deliver a theatre performance for young people that is developed by people with lived experience of gambling-related harms and addiction. This performance displays a real and raw side of gambling-related harms, raising awareness in a way that young people can identify and relate to.
We also offer an online gambling education hub which houses online training events and resources. Articles, research, stats and vlogs around gambling related harms.
