About the Project

Adferiad provides specialist counselling services on behalf of RCS Wellbeing for Work’s Welsh Government Funded In-Work Support Service, for employees, and self-employed people across North Wales and Swansea, to help them stay in or get back into work, and live and work more healthily.

The service provides support with:

  • Managing stress and building resilience
  • Reducing anxiety
  • Improving your physical health
  • Making changes at work

Support is quick, free, confidential and personalised to each individual, with counselling and psychological therapies delivered on a one-to-one basis, either face-to-face or online. Through the programme, you will have access to support specialised to your needs, addressing issues such as substance use and complex mental health needs, in addition to wider issues such as employment rights, finances, or problem debt.

Funded support and training to SME businesses (up to 250 employees) is also available through RCS, offering wellbeing support and training aimed at helping employers build happier, healthier workplaces. A list of upcoming courses can be found here.
