About the Project

Parkland Place Lancashire is a residential addiction treatment unit which provides medically managed clinical treatment and support to those working towards a substance-free lifestyle. Our aim is to help, support, and guide clients on their journey to recovery. The clinical provision is led by a registered manager and the service is staffed 24/7 by qualified nurses and an experienced team of healthcare support workers.

Set within 14 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and woodland, Parkland Place Lancashire provides an environment perfectly suited to recovery – offering time for reflection and the opportunity to refocus and rebuild.

Who do we support?

We are commissioned and regulated to support patients 18 years of age and older with their substance use, who have been referred to the service via the statutory sector.

How do we do it?

The team will devise an individualised care plan with clients based on their main areas of concern. The unit is staffed by registered nurses and recovery staff 24 hours per day, and all rooms have a nurse call button in place to support and relieve anxiety. Users have access to their named nurse team throughout their stay.

Facilities at Parkland Place Lancashire have been carefully designed, and are being continually upgraded to meet the diverse needs of particular groups of clients including a shared lounge, equipped with a small kitchenette including microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities; shower facilities available in three separate private, lockable cubicles for use by all patients; laundry facilities; and a fitness area.
