About the Project
Adferiad’s Workforce Development Programme offers a range of free courses, fully funded by North Wales Substance Misuse Area Planning Board and Partners. Courses are free to all organisations across the six North Wales counties.
Our courses range from in depth look at drugs, their effects and treatments through to Adverse Childhood Experiences, unlocking an insight into their impact on childhood brain development and adult mental health. We also offer accredited courses to boost and bolster your knowledge and understanding, allowing you to gain a nationally recognised qualification. These are just a small example of the range of courses we offer.
All our training is delivered in a relaxed environment where people can feel at ease to ask any questions that they may have. Courses are delivered by qualified and experienced trainers, many of which have current firsthand knowledge of the topic that they are delivering. Helping to ensure participants have the most up to date knowledge and skills to enable them to feel confident and competent in their roles. In turn, enhancing the information, advice and support delivered to individual’s needs.
