The Mental Health and Money Advice Service offers clear and practical advice and support for people experiencing issues with mental health and money matters.

The MH&MA website provides guidance on Money Matters, Mental Health Care, Tools, and Top Tips, including:

  • Benefit Checks
  • Universal Credit Money Manager
  • Guidance on completing PIP forms
  • Mandatory Reconsiderations and Tribunals advice
  • Guidance on completing Work Capacity Forms
  • Assessing Priority and Non Priority Debts
  • Tools to help with budgeting
  • Guidance on how to deal with money matters
  • Debt health check
  • Getting support with your mental health
  • Helpful links to other resources

Eligibility / Referrals

The service is supported by debt advisors, who help clients with debts, benefits, and welfare rights. This service is open to individuals that are supported by Adferiad, Cyfle Cymru, Step Change and other partner agencies. Referrals are made via a 3rd party portal service.
