About the project
Carmarthenshire Carers Information Service provides an information and flexible outreach service across Carmarthenshire for adult carers of adults. It’s purpose is to enable carers to develop the skills and confidence to care and to help them have a life of their own.
The support offered includes:
- Information and Advice
- Help to access a Carers Assessment
- Signposting to other sources of support
- Information about respite opportunities
- Advocacy support
- Emotional support
- Carers Groups
- Telephone & 1:1 support
- Access to training opportunities
- Carers Recognition card
- Carers Emergency card
- Carers events
- Money Advice service

Eligibility / Referral Process
Anyone supporting someone with a physical or mental health problem – Self-referral/professional referrals from GP’s, CMHT and other Third Sector services.
