Nestled in the heart of Conwy County, our social enterprise cafes are situated in the coastal towns of Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and at Llandudno Junction Train Station. Delivering a great service and quality refreshments, the businesses also provide work experience and training opportunities to those seeking opportunities within the catering and hospitality industry. Our Grade II Listed building ‘Station Court’ in Colwyn Bay provides high class training and room hire facilities, alongside an outside catering business. Operating on a not-for-profit basis, any profits generated within our businesses are reinvested, to provide essential support to those in need, within our communities.
Porters Llandudno Junction
Our Porters Café, Llandudno, is located at the Llandudno Junction Train station. The shop is perfect for grabbing a coffee or snack on the go, selling a variety of cakes, drinks and snacks.
Situated between platforms 1 and 3 within Llandudno Junction Train Station, Porter’s coffee shop is open Monday to Saturday. This is the most recent of our line of cafes, opening it’s doors in March 2024, following the success of the Colwyn Bay shop and the Troop Café
Troop Cafe, Llandudno
The Llandudno Troop Café is a community-led café situated on the coach park in Llandudno, which provides additional support for veterans in the area. The Troop Café run regular group sessions for Veterans, as well as displaying a plethora of military memorabilia and photos. The café is also where you can find the statue of Fusilier Shenkin, the Regimental Mascot of 3rd Battalion The Royal Welsh which made the move to the site in March 2024.
Station Court Room Hire
Situated in the heart of Colwyn Bay, Station Court provides modern and spacious accommodation for stand-out training courses, meetings and bespoke events.
Extensively refurbished and renovated, this Grade II listed building offers three wonderful rooms in historic and impressive surroundings, combined with catering options on site.
All our rooms offer free WiFi and hearing loop induction facilities. Our IT and presentation include large TV monitors with HDMI connectivity, projectors, flip charts and whiteboards. We have full disabled access and a lift to all floors. Centrally situated on the North Wales coast, easily accessible from the A55 or by public transport, close to all-day parking facilities and just 100 yards from Colwyn Bay Railway Station, Station Court is easily accessible to all.

Porter's Outside Catering
Support our award winning social enterprise and training kitchen by ordering refreshments for your event!
We offer a range of catering packages to suit any event or budget. We will also quote for bespoke buffets upon request and can provide home made cupcakes with your company logo! The social enterprise is also on the site of our Station Court building offering rooms for hire should they be required.
Porter’s also has a refrigerated van, allowing for delivery of buffets wherever you may be.

Station Court and St Giles - Y Pantri
CAIS Social Enterprises, in partnership with St Giles Trust and Adferiad launched a new social supermarket in 2023.
Aimed at helping people who are struggling with the increased cost of living or with a much lower level of disposable income, Y Pantri, is a social supermarket with a difference.
Participants are referred to the service and then ‘subscribe’ for a very low fee (£3.50 per week), which allows for one scheduled visit per week to shop for produce – such as meat, cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as receiving specialist and confidential 1-2-1 advice and guidance on any number of issues that could be affecting them or their families.
