Culture Grant Scheme for Grassroots Organisations to be Relaunched

We will soon be relaunching the Culture Grant Scheme for Grassroots Organisations (funded by the Welsh Government).

The remit of the grant has been expanded since the last round, and is now aimed at groups or projects that are run by or for

• People from Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic communities in Wales
• People from LGBTQ+ communities in Wales
• People from disabled communities in Wales

The grant’s purpose is to develop cultural and creative activities across Wales, and can support 6 month projects from 1st October 2025 to 31st March 2026.

It is part of the Welsh Government Anit-Racist Wales Action Plan, the LGBTQ+ Action Plan and the Disabled People’s Rights Plan: 2025-2035.

There will be 3 grant streams – Small Grants, Medium Grants & Large Grants – to support groups and projects with revenue and capital funding.

Full details will be published on Friday 15^th August when applications open and applications will close at 5pm on 15^th September.

There will be a Grant Workshop at 11am on Tuesday 26^th October.
