About the Project
Cyfle Cymru is an Out-of-Work peer mentoring service supporting people in recovery from substance use and/or mental health issues who would like to make positive changes to their lives.
Our peer mentors draw on their lived experiences to support people with moving forward into training, education, volunteering and employment.
The service offers specialist employment support, including:
- Training courses
- Volunteering opportunities
- Help and advice on how to search and apply for jobs
- Dedicated training that will help you build your CV
- Step towards employment training and accredited courses.
We offer activities that range from, gardening, craft events, wellbeing and volunteering beach cleans, litter picks and mindfulness sessions including personal development which will address anxiety, Substance use awareness, stress awareness and building confidence and self-esteem.
Eligibility / Referral Process
16-24 NEET (not in Education, employment or training) or 25 and over that are economically inactive or long-term unemployed 12 months plus
